Dr. Malcolm DeCamp will be presenting at The Pate Family Dinner Dance Fundraiser In Memory of Troy Capps on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the Lake County Historical Museum in Crown Point, Indiana at 6:00 p.m. All proceeds will benefit breast cancer and lung cancer research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.

The American Lung Association has invited Dr. Alberto de Hoyos to participate in the Lung Cancer Expert Medical Advisory Panel (LCEMAP). The Expert Panel is designed to examine and provide strategic advise on critical lung cancer matters and lung cancer-related issues including: prevention, early detection and novel treatments. In addition, the Expert Panel will support efforts in approaching lung cancer in a manner that is well-informed, scientifically sound and ethical. Members of the panel are well-regarded leaders in their field and represent a variety of backgrounds and affiliations.
The Thoracic Surgery program at Northwestern offers the latest surgical procedures for benign and malignant diseases of the chest including the tracheobronchial tree (airways), lungs, pleura, esophagus, diaphragm, chest wall and mediastinum.
