Pediatric Transplant Surgery Fellowship Program

The curriculum for a Pediatric Transplant Surgery Fellowship, available through McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, has been in place since 2001, and we are always able to accommodate one fellow per year. The Transplant Surgery Fellows from Northwestern do a pediatric transplant surgery rotation as part of their fellowship, which encompasses both adult and pediatric transplantation, and the curriculum for their rotation at the Feinberg clinical affiliate, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, follows is the same as that of the Pediatric Transplant Surgery Fellowship. Therefore, our curriculum and faculty are always poised to be able to take on one dedicated pediatric fellow per year when someone who is trained in pediatrics expresses and interest in pediatric transplant surgery as opposed to a combined adult/pediatrics fellowship.

The Pediatric Transplant Surgery Fellowship is a one-year program, and we are able to accept one fellow per year. Learn more about the program below.
