General Surgery Residency

The Department of Surgery is deeply committed to the general surgery residency program and assumes a kaizen approach, a Japanese term meaning “the relentless quest for better quality.” The program leadership and faculty dedicate significant resources (human, time, and financial) to meet our education mission and manage a residency program that truly facilitates the professional as well as the personal growth of its residents so to graduate future leaders, scholars and clinicians to the best of our abilities.

Plastic Surgery Residency

The integrated residency program in plastic surgery is fully approved by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The program incorporates one year of research in the middle of the three-plus-three clinical model for a total of seven years.
