Research
Northwestern’s Section of Thoracic Surgery will be a participating site in the worldwide randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III clinical trial called MAGRIT, targeting patients with MAGE-A3-positive, completely resected stage IB, II or IIIA Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
This research study is being conducted to test an investigational product called MAGE-A3 ASCI (Antigen Specific Cancer Immunotherapeutic), to see if it may prevent the return of the cancer after surgical removal of the tumor.
For more information, interested participants and clinicians may contact Susan Fore-Kosterski, RN, Research Coordinator, Department of Thoracic Surgery at (312) 926-7577.
